When it comes to large-scale warfare, you're just a small cog in a big machine. The Battlefield franchise is packed with exceptional spectacle and cinematic presentation, and you're just a very small part of the bigger war that is taking place in any given lobby.
However, that doesn't mean you shouldn't try your best. While Battlefield 6's Open Beta is heavily objective-focused, killing a lot of enemies is going to help gain and maintain control zones. So, if you're feeling a little lost in the scale of the game's massive warzones, we're here to offer you some considerations of what you might want to take onto the field, with our guide to the best Battlefield 6 loadouts in the second beta weekend.

Best BF6 Class
In our experience, the Engineer and Support excel in Battlefield 6 Open Beta.
Engineer
The game’s RPGs are great, and the Engineer has those in hand, which is great for destroying vehicles, but also unsuspecting players. However, it only truly excels on maps where vehicle control is most powerful. That can be situational.
Support
For a Class that is almost always useful, you can’t go wrong with the Support. In Battlefield 6, players go down rather than being outright killed in most cases. Supports play an important part in turning the tide of a fight. They can near-instantaneously revive players with their Defib, allowing you to surprise enemies who thought they had just dealt with a player. This is a very strong gadget, and can flip objectives if enough players can be revived.
Battlefield 6, more so than other military shooters, is a team-focused game. While killing a lot of enemies will help your efforts, your team is going to win or lose via objectives, and the teamwork involved in getting them. That’s where Supports excel, and why they are probably the best all-purpose class in the game. Here's my favorite set-up for the class.
| Category | Spec | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Field Specs | Combat Medic | Press to activate Mobile Supply Bag for 10 seconds. Revive Teammates in 2.5 seconds. |
| Gadget One | Defib | This equipment can revive both teammates and squad members. Charge paddles for a short duration to revive a downed soldier with full health. Can also inflict damage on enemies. |
| Gadget Two | Cover | A Reinforced Ballistic shield to protect from projectiles and explosive damage. The shield can degrade from damage, so work with Engineers who can repair it and keep you in the fight. |
| Throwable | Frag | Equipped with an impact-triggered time fuse, this grenade is deal for targeting enemies behind cover. Deadly when close to the blast radius |
| Melee | Melee | A lightweight serrated knife for fast attacks. Attacking enemies from the back or while they are prone will initiate a lethal takedown. Increases sprint speed when equipped. |
Best BF6 Weapons
No matter what class you use, using a great weapon is going to be important. Here are some loadouts for weapons that we like.
Best BF6 M433 Loadout
| Attachment | Spec | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Muzzle | Compensated Brake | Reduces Recoil and improves remaining recoil |
| Barrel | 16.5' Rifle | Traditional Rifle-Length factory barrel. Slightly improves aiming speed. |
| Underbarrel | 6H64 Vertical | Enhanced recoil control at the cost of handling when aiming. |
| Magazine | 40RND Magazine | Polymer Extended Magazine. Slows movement speed when aiming. |
| Ammunition | Polymer Case | Ammunition with a lightweight casing. Provides standard bullet penetration and improved ADS movement speed. |
| Scope | SU-123 1.25x | Provides a clear sight picture. |
The M433 is seen as the ‘default’ weapon in the Battlefield 6 Open beta. That’s because it comes selected on multiple classes, and is the Assault Rifle available to you right out of the gate. However, just because you get it first, doesn’t mean it’s weak. It’s well worth your time leveling this thing up, as it can become one of the best all-purpose weapons in the game.
For this loadout, it’s all about recoil control. Battlefield 6’s weapons can be a little unwieldy, at least if you’re used to faster-paced offerings in the same genre. With that in mind, this setup is about making the act of firing the weapon as smooth as possible, and all of these attachments go towards that goal.
Of course, some of these attachments don’t come until later in the weapon’s mastery, so just keep making gains towards recoil control and ADS time where possible as you level it up. Once you have the gun ready, you will have an excellent assault rifle for just about any situation.
Best BF6 SGX Loadout
| Attachment | Spec | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Muzzle | Compensated Brake | Reduces Recoil and improves remaining recoil |
| Barrel | 8' Extended | Extended barrel for the SGX. Improves aiming speed and projectile velocity. |
| Underbarrel | 6H64 Vertical | Enhanced recoil control at the cost of handling when aiming. |
| Magazine | 36RND Magazine | Standard-issue magazine with a six-round baseplate. Slows movement speed while aiming. |
| Ammunition | Softpoint | Abundant civilian ammunition that expands on impact. Improved headshot damage. |
| Scope | SU-123 1.25x | Provides a clear sight picture. |
The SGX is one of Battlefield 6’s best weapons, at least in the situations it excels in. While it can struggle at longer ranges, the SMG has excellent time to kill and can still surprise at mid-range. However, if you stick to buildings and angles with shorter ranges, you will chew up enemies exceptionally fast.
This Loadout is geared toward recoil control and minimizing how much this weapon moves while firing. Once you have all these attachments, this becomes as straight as an arrow and exceptionally easy to use. My longest kill streaks have come with this gun while holding important interior locations around objectives. Obviously, you don’t want to be caught out in the open with exceptionally long sightlines on maps like Liberation Peaks, but if you can make the playstyle adjustments to stick to its optimal ranges, the SGX is a beast.
As with the M433, as you level up with the weapon, try to minimise recoil and ADS time. This will make it easier to shoot and go from sprinting to ready to kill as quickly as possible. However, once you have the components unlocked, we suggest using the loadout above.
